Me and Mulvan figured that we’d destroy our (non existing) reputation with the Steamwheedle Cartel to get some nice pirate gear and titles. After about 4 hours of slaying the guards and inhabitants of Booty Bay, we achieved our goal.
Onyxia soloed!
After having some wipes, mostly due to poor gear and lack of stamina and DPS, I figured I’d try another attempt at Onyxia yesterday since I’ve gotten some upgrades lately. It went awesomely well, and down she fell. Quite awesome really.
Arthas! We’re coming for you!
We’ve not updated you on our progress throughout Northrend for the past week, since the game is so anew and we started at level 55. Resultingly we’ve been forced to relive the old content of Outland again, but when we finally hit 68 and were able to go to Northrend all that was lost.
In many ways, Northrend is much better than than the Outlands. First of all, we don’t get the feeling that we’re playing more of Starcraft than Warcraft. Second, weapons and armor are very nicely made, and they fit the theme of Northrend nicely. The quests are nice and fun, and you do more unexpected things compared to the Outlands.
All in all, I feel that Blizzard to a great point have managed to create a successful expansion which will keep us occupied and amazed for a large amount of time to come. At a later point we will write more about what we’ve been up to, and I heard some rumours about me writing some entries about addons and addons I’ve made. Until then we’ll continue our quest towards Icecrown Citadel.
Orgrimmar’s under attack!
The event leading up to the expansion of World of Warcraft has entered a new phase. This time Orgrimmar’s under attack by Frost Wyrms and Abominations. Resultingly, Thrall takes matter into his own hands. With aid from his allied leaders, such as Garrosh Hellscream and Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, he’s fighting back against the evils of the Lich King. Below are some screenshots from this event.
New class introduction videos
Aion is a game we’ll probably write quite much about later on, as it seems to be one of the games that will climb to the top of 2009. I recently found out that NCsoft has released new introduction videos, and thus I’ll link them here:
Assassin
Chanter
Cleric
Gladiator
Ranger
Sorcerer
Spiritmaster
Templar
Bejeweled addon
What can possibly be better than an addicting game inside an addicting game?
The bejeweled addon must be one of the best non-ui addon i have ever seen
Whenever I die, fly or are waiting for a slow raid to start, it just pops up ready to start wherever I left of last time.

Because one of the most boring part of WoW, is all the waiting. Especially after wipes in raids or waiting for people to show up. Instead of doing lots of alt+tabing and get unfocused, its a lot more convenient to just have a time killer that automaticly goes away when RL types /readycheck
Getting ready for Wrath of the Lich King
A member of my guild made me aware of an ingenious guide towards getting the most experience out of the first levels of the Death Knight written by a B Young. Welcome to ipwn gaming blog!
Hello! If you are one of the lucky few whom has acquired the address to test out this site (or you just are damn good at guessing) you have probably seen this before, but for others you have just entered one blooming blog dedicated to video games.
First off, let me tell you about what kind of games I like. My personal favourites are adventure and MMO games. Games which makes you feel part of them and make you know and understand the lore behind what happens. Current games I play are World of Warcraft and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We’ve had the Zelda game for almost two years (January 2007), and I still haven’t played it for real. Two days ago I figured that it was about time, and thus I started playing it (from the begining all over again, since I didn’t remember anything from the first time I played it).
Right now there’s only 7 days and some hours until the next World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, hits us. I’ve preordered the game at Spaceworld, and I plan on getting it at midnight of November 13th.
These are not the only games I like to play or have played, but these are the current games I play right now. Another future game I am looking forward to is Aion: The Tower of Eternity. This game looks awesome. It’s made by NCsoft, whom has made amongst others GuildWars, Lineage II and Tabula Rasa. Aion is, from what I have read, a game with a larger budget than all the previous games added together. In addition, it’s said to be funded by a monthly fee, much like World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online.
Please stay tuned to this blog as it grows and develops into something awesome. Feel free to comment and request and suggest features (I’ll post an entry with it later on).
